PET INFORMATION

Maine is the ideal vacation destination for pets and owners alike. With sand, sea, and trails to roam – you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to spend some quality time with your furry best friend. Several of our historic downtown locations also offer pet-friendly shopping and dining facilities, so there's always something for you to do! Have a look at some of Maine's Dog-Friendly attractions here:

At Pine Grove cottages, We love 4-legged guests and don't believe any family member should be left behind for vacation.

We also understand how difficult it is to find accommodations that permit pets, so we have opened up our cabins and cottages to be pet friendly.

Make sure to check out our pet rules below to make sure both you and your pet are comfortable and that our chalets are a good fit for your family.

Our Pet Policies

Please review the following Pet Policy carefully. It contains rules, guidelines, and requirements concerning your pet and its stay with us. We adopted our pet policy for the safety and security of all our guests including your pet.

  • We only accept Dogs.
  • $25 per night per pet.
  • Dogs must be potty trained.
  • We will charge additional fees for any pet accidents, damages, or injuries caused by your pet. This charge will be at the discretion of the owners of Pine Grove Cottages with a minimum fee of $100.
  • Because of the size of our cottages, there is a 2-pet limit.
  • We ask that you do not leave your pet unattended in the cottage unless it is kept in a travel kennel. This is so your pet feels secure in its new environment.
  • We welcome you to walk around the grounds with your pet leashed.
  • We're happy to supply you with extra poop bags. Please dispose of them in the dumpster, not in the cottage trash.
  • As a consideration to future guests please keep your pets off the furniture and beds.
  • Excessive barking is grounds for forfeiting all rental fees and ending your stay immediately.
  • Please remember not all guests have pets.

By making a reservation with your pet, you have entirely accepted the Pine Grove Pet Policies.
